California temperatures in June are ideal for outdoor events.  Summer has just begun and school has ended.  June celebrates Father’s day and Juneteenth, a celebration of the ending of slavery.  Many county fairs and farmer’s markets have opened, and many food and cultural festivals are offered each week:
